A fixed wall mount holds a Samsung TV flat and close to the wall — no tilt, no swivel — which gives the cleanest look and the lowest profile. It's the right choice when you're sitting roughly at eye level with the screen. Get three things right and the install is straightforward: the VESA pattern, the weight rating, and anchoring into studs.

Match the mount to the TV

  1. VESA pattern. This is the spacing of the four threaded holes on the back of the TV, in millimeters (e.g. 200×200, 400×300, 400×400, 600×400). Find your Samsung model's VESA size in its manual or on Samsung's spec page, and buy a fixed mount that lists that pattern (most cover a range).
  2. Weight rating. The mount must be rated above your TV's weight (without the stand). Most Samsungs are light, but check — a 75"/85" set is heavier. Our wall mount picks list weight ratings per model so you can match yours.
  3. Screw size/length. Samsung includes the right mounting screws and spacers. Using screws that are too long can damage the panel — use the supplied ones, and the spacers if your model needs clearance for the curved/recessed back.

Mind Samsung's "No-Gap" / Slim Fit feature

Many Samsung TVs are designed to sit nearly flush with a compatible mount. If you want that flush look, use Samsung's Slim Fit / No-Gap Wall Mount for your TV's size — generic fixed mounts work fine but leave a normal ~1–2" gap. Either is secure; it's just the look. Install it safely

  1. Find the studs. A TV must anchor into wall studs, not just drywall anchors — a fixed mount plus TV is too heavy for drywall alone. Use a stud finder and mark the centers.
  2. Level the wall plate and mark/drill pilot holes into the studs, then bolt the plate up with the lag bolts provided.
  3. Attach the brackets to the TV with the supplied screws (and spacers if needed), then hang the TV onto the wall plate and engage its lock/safety.
  4. Plan cables first. A fixed mount sits tight to the wall, so route HDMI and power before you hang it — reaching connections behind a flush TV later is hard. Consider 90° HDMI adapters for tight clearances.

FAQ

How do I find my Samsung's VESA size? It's in the TV's manual or on Samsung's spec page — the spacing of the four rear mount holes (e.g. 400×300 mm). Buy a fixed mount that lists that pattern.

Can I mount it on drywall? Not safely on drywall alone — anchor into studs. A TV on a fixed mount is too heavy for drywall anchors by themselves.

Why is there a gap behind my Samsung? Generic fixed mounts leave a normal small gap. For the flush look, use Samsung's Slim Fit / No-Gap mount made for your TV size.

Fixed vs tilting — which should I get? Fixed is best when the TV is near eye level (cleanest, lowest profile). Choose tilting if you're mounting it high (above a fireplace), so you can angle it down.
